The inspiration for my ceramics comes from experiencing nature. It’s fitting that my art begins with mud!
Always drawn to the beauty and joyfulness found outdoors, working with clay is rejuvenating and pleasurable. My work is hand-built and loose; focusing on form, texture, pattern and color resulting in trays, wall hangings, platters, bowls, vases, lanterns, and most recently, sculpted birds. My work is intuitive and playful and is meant to be decorative.
