You can be creative in an old craft…if you create your piece well and have the right color and balance then it becomes an art piece because it just works. I love the part that we make something with our hands and the fact that most baskets have a story. The play of color and the intrigue of incorporating texture and patterns into baskets have been an inspiration to create functional yet lovely baskets.
