I am a mixed media artist and a handmade bookmaker. For the past 15 years, I’ve enjoyed learning new mixed media techniques to artfully express myself on paper and fabric. I also preserve my memories and share my love for nature in my art journals. I am an avid gardener. My gardens provide a wealth of flowers and plants for eco printing, pressing and pounding, for the botanical prints I make. The work I would like to be juried are my art-filled journals. The pages and the cover are hand painted papers. My journals have 40 pages and are 6″x9″ tall. They can be enjoyed as art journals or can be added to by the owner. So often I hear people ask, “What should I put in this blank journal?” My journals are filled with art and are lovely to look at.
